HOLOS
Summarised

Holistic Online Programme

Holos comes from Ancient Greek, meaning whole, entire, or complete. Holos is a holistic CPD-certified staff training programme built on scientific research and parent, student, and teacher feedback.

We begin by addressing key topics such as neurodivergence, SEND and fine motor skills, then teach you how to identify signs of SEND in under five minutes. Accelerating support pathways and helping children sooner.

Expert Instructors

Learn from the best. Industry leading experts teaching you about the areas they have spent their lives honing. Holos is a comprehensive programme that covers every aspect a staff training programme should, fuelled by 250+ years of expertise.

Individualised Follow-On Staff Training

Joining Holos isn’t like any other staff training programme or session. This isn’t a one-time event; you are enrolling into a wonderful community. After watching the Holos training video, you will have access to our field-leading experts.  Our experts will provide online or in-person sessions tailored to your specific needs. If you believe we have missed something, please let us know in our feedback survey. We will include it in our yearly refresh programme.

A Community For Teachers

Once your school connects with Holos, you become part of our community. Here you have a safe space to ask questions, discuss ideas and have your questions answered by the very experts you see in the programme.

01

Steps 1 - 6

Step 1 - Watch The Holos Staff Training Programme

Our holistic staff training programme offers a comprehensive and unique CPD experience. Through watching the video, your teachers will gain a deeper understanding of key topics, including neurodivergence, fine motor skills, coordination, gross motor skills, and sensory processing. They will learn how to run fun, engaging and beneficial P.E. sessions that improve coordination by 56% more than P.E. alone, among other benefits.

02

Step 2 - Identify Children In Need

Arguably, the most important element of the Holos Staff Training programme is identifying physical immaturities that will impact a child's development. You can do this in 5 minutes through a fun warm-up game, and by observing this, you will be able to identify children who have retained reflexes. There is a strong correlation between retained reflexes and SEND. By identifying retained reflexes, you are fast-tracking the time frame for these individuals to receive help and, quite literally, positively altering the course of their lives. Getting children the support they need sooner rather than later is vital for their development. Identify SEND at seven rather than seventeen!

03

Step 3 - Provide Support & Choose Options

Holos also provides your school with the following programmes;
- The Coordination Curriculum
This helps teachers run more effective P.E. lessons, ensuring they address the key underlying elements of coordination, such as bilateral integration and midline crossing. Improving coordination by 56% more than P.E. alone!
- The at-home Coordination Curriculum
This is a fun version of the Coordination Curriculum that all children will receive. They can work on underlying areas of coordination, as well as core strength, balance, and postural stability, from the comfort of their own home with their families.
- Learning material
Holos provides additional educational materials created by our presenters, ranging from books to published articles. These materials encompass P.E. strategies for autistic individuals, inclusion books written by Paralympic gold medal-winning athletes, and more.

04

Step 4 - Track & Analyse Progress

With our intuitive online tracking software, you can simply and easily track your pupils' coordination and P.E progress. We already have objective ways to track progress in Maths and English, so why not in P.E?

Tracking their coordination development is a quick and easy way to track progress. Helping you make informed, supportive decisions and provide detailed feedback to parents and staff.

05

Step 5 - Clinic Pathways

By tracking their coordination, physical development, and academic ability, you will have all the information you need to determine whether you may need to consider referring them for additional support. This is where you can discuss with your SEND lead and initiate the NHS process. If you need help with external support, Holos will help find some wonderful clinics that are local to your school.

06
